Anish has so far worked as medical doctor, bioinformatician, strategy consultant and cryptographer. He has spend half his career researching cryptographic algorithms and protocols at three different research groups including Microsoft Research. He has worked as a strategy consultant for Accenture and Capgemini. He has advised and worked for various banks and financial institutions including AIB, HSBC, Lloyds and Zurich. He was an early advisor to Ripple, Ocean protocol, Boson Protocol and Ping Asset. He has been involved in half a dozen blockchains and more than a dozen distributed applications. He is also the cofounder of Ethicsnet , RSQ Labs , Pantherprotocol , adjunct faculty at Harbour Space and head of research at the Information Sciences Institute at SRH University of Applied Sciences.
An expert in Open Source and Ecosystem Management, Marta has an impressive track record of leading communities in many organizations. Currently serving as Head of Community at Balancer Labs, Marta spent over 4 years at the Linux Foundation building the Hyperledger ecosystem. She holds a PhD in Computer Security and Privacy and worked in privacy and security roles with Apple, Blockstream, Mozilla, Deutsche Telekom and others before moving to roles focusing on ecosystem leadership. She is a founder of the W3C Blockchain community Group and presently serves as Chair of the Sovrin Technical Governing Board. Marta is passionate about the equity that decentralization can bring to all aspects of life - no matter whether DeFi, Supply Chain or Education.
