EdenBase Insights: Investing in the Skills Gap in AI and Frontier Technologies
The next TransformBase event is announced!
Curated by EdenBase and taking place on the 27th of June, our flagship summer event is focused on investment into and business adoption of frontier technologies. At our inaugural event last November, over 55% of attendees were investors demonstrating the demand and interest in this space.
Reflecting on how inspiring TransformBase 2023 was. The convergence of investors, founders, policymakers, innovators, and visionaries underscored the importance of deeply understanding the potential of these amazing technologies, that we believe could help solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
Last year’s event was a powerful demonstration of the collective ambition and insight of prominent figures such as Lord Dominic Johnson (UK Minister for Investment), and eminent leaders from the investment and industry sectors including Sherry Coutu (Pearson, Raspberry Pi, Founders4Schools), Nicola McCormick (WPP), and Fabrice Beaulieu (Reckitt). In addition, notable organisations such as the UK's Department for Business and Trade, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citi participated in discussions on the main stage and in roundtable sessions.
As we look forward to TransformBase 2024, set in London's St. Katherine's Dock at the Northeastern University Campus, I am thrilled to share a preview of what awaits. With the theme "Activate, Adopt, and Innovate," we are poised to deepen our understanding of how founders, investors and business leaders can harness the powerful technologies that are reshaping our world.
The agenda for TransformBase 2024 is tailored to foster engagement and harness collective intelligence, featuring roundtables, thought-provoking talks, and hands-on sessions. Our goal is to facilitate the most important conversations about the potential of frontier technologies, transforming these insights into actionable strategies for businesses, investors and society (using AI). This approach enables our attendees to make an impactful difference.
Aligned with our goal of equipping organisations and feeding into government policy, we draw inspiration from the critical themes explored in 'Unsupervised,' the recent book by EdenBase Co-Founder Daniel Doll-Steinberg, published by Wiley. Recognised as a book 'People in Power Found Essential' by Bloomberg in 2023, “Unsupervised” lays the foundation for TransformBase to further these meaningful conversations.
Our partners and sponsors echo this sentiment, with Alex McCracken of J.P. Morgan commenting, "J.P. Morgan is delighted to support the TransformBase event, recognising the pivotal role of frontier technologies such as AI in driving innovation and productivity."
As we prepare to welcome over 300 investors, founders and business leaders to TransformBase, I encourage you to apply for attendance as soon as possible. Spaces are limited and allocated based on relevance.
